First Sermon


    • Miracles only occur to Prophets
    • The miracle cannot be countered
    • It's not magic
    • Magic can be defeated
    • An extraordinary matter
    • It cannot be countered by someone else
    • If someone came to this building and claimed Prophethood we know that it is a lie
    • It's not permissible to call things miracles
    • A person gets cured from cancer we don't say that it is a miracle
    • Awliyas perform Karamas
    • You can only reach Awliya by following the Prophet
    • Knowledge is a necessity
    • One must learn
    • Knowledge comes from Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
    • A Karama is less than a miracle
    • Miracles are of two types
    1. The people can request it
    2. It can just happen
    • The greatest miracle of the Prophet is the Qur'an
    • When he began to recite the Ayats the people were amazed
      • He could not read or write so how did he know these Ayats?
    • We don't say it's a miracle
    • Prophet Eesa cured the blind and bought the dead back to life
    • Pharaoh claimed to be God
    • Prophet Musa threw his staff and it became a snake
    • The people knew it was no magic
    • The miracles of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) are the most and the greatest
    • Allah enabled the tree trunk to cry
    • He hugged the tree trunk and it stopped crying
    • It cried missing the Prohet (PBUH)
    • They wanted to make Wudu but they only had small water in a bucket
    • There was 1,500 people
    • The Prophet put his hands in the bucket and when he took it out water was springing
    • It would have been enough water for 100,000 people
    • All 1,500 men made Wudu and drank
    • His eye was struck and when it came out it was dangling
    • The Prophet put the eye back
    • He says that he don't even know which eye it was, left or right
    • It cannot be countered or defeated


    Second Sermon


    • Allah is the Creator of all things
    • He is not affected by time
    • The six directions do not encompass him
    • It is also the date that Prophet Musa saved the people from the Pharaoh
    • Prophet Noah (PBUH) was sent to a blasphemous tribe
    • He would faint because of their severe hitting
    • Noah made supplications that all the blasphemers be left alive
    • Prophet Noah (PBUH) and all his followers survived
    • The sons of Isra'il were 600,000
    • Allah ordered Musa to strike the sea and it split
    • The Pharaoh when him and his men went into one of the sects with his men and they were halfway in it Allah willed for the water to collapse
    • They all died
    • Right before the Pharaoh was sure of his death he repented to Allah
    • The repentance is not accepted when one is sure of their death
    • The smart Muslim would understand that it's the beginning of a new year
    • Very easy on the tongue to say
    • Piety means to obey Allah
      • Allah ordered us with something very great


    Jummah class

    • Among the sins of the heart is consuming riba
    • Consuming alcohol is a sin of the abdomen
    • The prohibition of alcohol was revealed in the Qur'an
    • The prohibition of alcohol was revealed in stages
    • Don't pray while drunk
    • The prohibition of alcohol was not revealed at first
    • The main priority was to call the people to Islam
    • He did not drink it but he did not say it was Haram
    • It has very little aspects of benefits
    • The bad outweigh the good
    • Its' harms are more numerous than the benefits
    • It was revealed in the Qura'n that it is a filthy thing and the Shaytan loves it
    • The religious penalty for drinking alcohol is to be whipped
    • No Prophet of Allah ever drank alcohol
    • The people thought they had a choice of whether to drink or not
    • He then said it was prohibited
    • They misunderstood the verse
    • To say it's "ok" is Blasphemy
    • Drinking alcohol is an enormous sin
    • Some of the companions they drank alcohol
    • Merely drinking alcohol does not make you a Non-Muslim
    • "A little bit of alcohol makes the heart happy"
    • Drinking alcohol destroys people
    • The one who becomes drunk will lose the faculty of his mind
    • We don't deny that it has some benefits
    • Prophet Jesus never said that
    • Whenever we see a lot of alcohol drinking we see a lot of attrocious acts
    • Alcohol is najas filthy
    • Buying and selling alcohol is Haram
    • Any antiseptic that is not fermented is fire
    • Our religion is the religion of purity
    • It's good to ask
    • It's a blessed day to fast
    • This is the day that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) told the Jews "We are more deserving of being affiliated to Moses than you are




      • 6pm class

    • We remind ourselves to have the sincere intention
    • The Prophet emppasized that he would fast but he passed away before that date
    • The Prophet saw the Jews fasting that day
    • They were fasting because that was the day Moses saved the people from the pharaoh
    • They became the Jews that we see today
    • After he heard their reason for fasting he said that "we are more deserving of being affiliated with Moses than you are"
    • By "we" he meant the Muslims
    • Even though the Jews went astray from the creed they stuck to the tradition of fasting on that specific day
    • Similar to how the idol worshippers kept their traditions
    • They clung to the tradition, the idol worshippers
    • The Shaytan is evil and wicked
    • The Shaytan whispered to them and told them to go around the Ka'ba naked
    • They would clap and whistle while they went around the Ka'ba naked
    • They filled the Ka'ba with idol statues
    • Rather, Prophet Ibrahim he destroyed the idols
    • They added to it their misguidance
    • After Prophet Ibrahim passed away they perverted the creed
    • Prophet Moses took the Children of Isra'il from the clutches of the pharaoh
    • The Pharaoh gathered a great army
    • The Pharaoh did not believe in Prophet Moses
    • He claimed Godhood for himself
    • He called other people to worship him
    • He told his followers "I am the diety"
    • They used to worship him
    • He became arrogant and rejected the call
    • When those sorcerers saw the miracles of Prophet Moses they believed him
    • When he found out his own wife was a believer he tortured her and killed her
    • He was severely unjust
    • He hit the sea with his staff and the sea split into 12 channels
    • When they crossed Allaah ordered Prophet Moses not to hit the staff again
    • "We will follow him and run in after him!"
    • When they were inside Prophet Moses hit the sea again with his staff and it collapsed on them and they all died
    • When the Pharaoh saw that death was upon him he repented it and stated that he believed
    • But it was too late for him
    • Repentance is not accepted when death is certain
    • The Pharaoh his repentance was not accepted
    • Some people say that Pharaoh died as a believer
    • This is wrong
    • Some people they read books on their own and fall astray
    • Prophet Moses fasted this day to thank Allah
    • The scholars did not author books just so they can be read like magazines
    • They authored them so that a student of knowledge can carefully read them
    • A Prophet would never doubt his status
    • Prophets never doubted their status over regular creatuions
    • The Prophets themselves they know that they have a high status
    • The Prophets are protected from those things
    • The Prophets have a higher status than the rest of the creations
    • If a person just read in books without getting knowledge than it would lead to destruction
    • The book Al-Bukhari is the best after the Qhr'an
    • It is blasphemy to think that the Prophet SAWS wanted to kill himself or committ suicide
    • Assuming that the narration is continued
    • The bottom line is to acquire the knowledge and not read in books
