Prophet- Male figure BEFORE MUHAMMAD who receives revelation from Allah and displays miracles to prove it, and is
ordered to convey it to the people
Messenger- Male figure BEFORE MUHAMMAD who receives new revelation from Allah that
the previous Prophets did not receive, and they are ordered to convey it to the people.
Examples of Messengers are Jesus, Moses, our master Muhammad. May peace be upon them all.
